Broadband 60gb to Broadband Unlimted.

I have recently noticed that at the moment i am on the Extra plan, which is £11.49 a month, with line rental of £13.99 which is £25.48 each month.
I was looking at changing my usage, because i was wanting to start using more services, like lovefilm etc.
I notice that there is an unlimited usage package, which costs £1 extra at £12.49 per month.
Now, before i change, i just want to double check. Am i right in saying, i can get the same product as i have just now, but with unlimited usage, for £26.48 a month?
If i was to change product, will this change on my next bill date. 25/01/13 ?
Thank you very much for your time

Hi,
They will remove Plusnet protect, if you use that. Other than that, yes, it is the same.

Actually unlimited is now £9.99 assuming you're on a market 3 exchange

You are correct, any change would happen on your billing date

Re: Broadband 60gb to Broadband Unlimted.

Three things
- yes the change would happen on your next billing date and it is unlimited
- you can either increase your payment by £1 per month OR you could sign up for 12 months and reduce the broadband part from £11.49 to £9.99 - a £1.50 reduction
- unlimited also includes free Plusnet Protect a.k.a McAfee

Re: Broadband 60gb to Broadband Unlimted.

I would double check on the if the setup fee is applied.  If you don't use the contract option and get tied into 12 months contract you might get hit with the setup fee.

So I would phone them and double check
FTTP 500 regrade from Tues 28th November

Re: Broadband 60gb to Broadband Unlimted.

If you do choose the 12 month contract option with Unlimited at £9.99 per month it is also worth considering signing up for Line Rental Saver. That requires paying £125.88 for 12 months line rental in advance, but the monthly equivalent reduces to £10.49.
To sign up login to the Member Centre, click Phones on the left-hand menu then the Line Rental Saver picture on the right.

Re: Broadband 60gb to Broadband Unlimted.

I was on the verge of changing from 60GB to Unlimited as the Mrs is now regularly downloading soaps from SKY+, it says i will go from 15MB/S to 7.5 MB/S, Is this right? Why is it slower?

Your connection speed won't change despite what it says in the speed estimate
