Blue light on router but no connection

I have been having problems since yesterday. Did a factory reset yesterday which sorted the issue but the same has happened again this morning. I have done another factory reset, shows as connected on my mobile settings and on my laptop but when I try to go online it says cannot connect to the server. On smart TV the settings are showing as not connected to the internet. Can’t get through on the phone to Plusnet. Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Re: Blue light on router but no connection

Log in to the Hub One by using http://192.168.1.254 in the address bar.
Username and password are located on the router - it will be admin
Once logged in go to:
Advanced Settings > Broadband
what is Broadband Username?

Re: Blue light on router but no connection

Disconnect the DSL cable, change 'setup' to your 'username', press 'save' and then reconnect DSL.

The one between your router and the phone socket.

Re: Blue light on router but no connection

Got it. I am getting a screen saying ‘Sessions number - no more than 100 sessions at a time are allowed’

Re: Blue light on router but no connection

@lizzief25 I've seen that in the dim and distant past, but can't remember the fix - sorry.

@dvorak Any idea?

Re: Blue light on router but no connection

restart the router with the cable unplugged and then try and connect to it again.

Re: Blue light on router but no connection

I did manage to get in and change my username and got the blue light back but now it’s gone again and I have an orange horizontal light and a steady red b on the hub.

Re: Blue light on router but no connection

Did you check the password as well?

Now you have it reconnected - after checking the password, reboot the router while it is connected.

Re: Blue light on router but no connection

By reboot do you mean restart or pin in the back job?

Re: Blue light on router but no connection

I'd try a restart first, if that failed, the pin, and if that failed, come back and we can look further.

Re: Blue light on router but no connection

Restart failed but will try the pin in back. Might that reset my username though back to setup@plusdsl.net?
