How is it for stability? My connection tends to drop at night due to the SNR and I was wondering if this would solve the problem.
Also, what do people on here think about it in general?
Thanks,
:).

Generally I am happy with it for broadband and Wi-Fi.

Quote from: Strat With it's current firmware 1.06e and an artificiality induced SNRM of 5db my 7800N is rock steady at 8128kbs.
What is your attentuation and what do you sync at without the SNR tweaked?

If you know how to get more detailed stats from the 7800N I'm all ears.

@Strat...
Download the latest Routerstats.. earlier versions don't work.
For the router search text use this URL for the stats page ... http://192.168.1.254/status/adslstatus.html
Tick "Use source A", get the page and mark the stats that you want
Telnet:
login set to admin and password
Change telnet prompt to ">"
Change chipset command set to adsl info --stats, tick alternative data format.

Quote from: nozzer A recent line fault dropped my SNRM down to 1.6dB and mine held the signal without a flinch and a sync of over 12Mbps.
That is very encouraging. I hope I get the same results on ADSL1! How close are you to the exchange and what are your full stats?
