Billion 7800N 1.06g

I imagine everyone using one of these routers and considers firmware updates worthwhile has updated to version 1.06g.
Anyone noticed any earth shattering improvements?

Re: Billion 7800N 1.06g

I have noticed that it gets much closer to being able to deliver an 80/20 connection to wired clients than 1.06f could. Everything else that I used before still works. I haven't spotted any radical new features, although at some point it has aquired the ability to filter MAC addresses on wired and wireless connections - once upon a time it could only do one of them (possibly much longer ago than 1.06f).
Unless you a) need to get more out of an 80/20 connection b) like to have the latest of everything, there is no need to upgrade.

Yeah, I didn't notice any earth shattering changes for a ADSL2 connection... Not really worth the hassle of setting everything up from scratch again after updating, so probably best to give it a miss unless you've got some free time on your hands...
