Belkin F5D 7634-4 and Routerstats

Can someone help me with the settings for this router to connect with Routerstats or routerstats lite  Thank you

Connecting your belkin router to Plusnet
Log on to your router by following this link http://192.168.2.1
Then click connection type on the left hand side.
Then click PPPoA
Username will be: [username]@plusdsl.net
Password: your password
IP assigned by ISP : Yes
VPI/VCI : 0/36
encapsulation: VC/MUX
MTU: 1454

To manually configure Routerstats settings for this router, when the configuration page opens you should choose "Other router" and (assuming information provided in the Help document for the Belkin F5D7630-4A (UK) applies to your 7634) enter URL to stats page as http://192.168.2.1/adsl_status_main.stm.
Then select the Router Seach Text tab and click Get Page. Highlight values and click the buttons as advised in the Help pages to teach the program where to find the stats.
When it comes to configuring graphs you might find the hints in the How to Use Routerstats topic helpful.

Thanks for that, but I am still  unable to make it work, I have to log in to the router without a password ( which is O.K by Belkin, and am able to access the router  )  and wonder if  I should create one to use for routerstats could that be the problem ?

If you access that stats webpage in your normal browser are you prompted for a username or not?
If not then selecting the "This router does not require a Username" checkbox should enable Routerstats to get the stats page information.
If you have to supply a username (but empty password) the "Login" checkbox needs to be ticked with the username entered in its textbox. The password textbox should be empty if Routerstats will accept that (sorry - I don't know whether it does or not).
If you can't have a username without a password than creating a new user which has one should solve the problem. In fact I'd be inclined to do this anyway in case the router gets upset if the same user logs on more than once (eg Routerstats and your browser).

Well there is no provision for a user name on the router and you can leave out a password unless you set one ,which I have now done, Routerstats does now contact the router as it shows a copy of the router settings on the routerstats page in Routerstats,but unfortunately  it doesnt  do anything  else I am at aloss what to try next  Thanks for the help

By "doesn't do anything else" do you mean attempts to highlight (select) the downstream sync speed digits are unsuccessful? That would mean nothing is identified for Routerstats to pick up when you click the Rx Sync button. Similarly for the upstream sync and both noise margin values.
If that is the case you could try selecting the Use Source B checkbox and click Get Page again. This will show the HTML text for the page; finding the values required is less easy with this source but once located try the highlight then button click process again.

When that information is displayed with Get Page does Routerstats allow you to highlight each of the numbers I've marked in red so you can select them using the indicated buttons?

I am unable to replicate that display again but have the same information with a duck egg blue background in type, I am unable to highlight

That Source A text contains lots of JavaScript code which is probably why you can't select text from the standard page. The text does contain the downstream and upstream sync speeds, and these should be selectable, but the more important noise margins don't appear to be in that text. I wonder if Source B would provide both?
Rather more experimenting with the page text in a browser would probably be needed to make this work. In fact even then it might not work well with this simple selecter because the location of the values relative to the start of the text might change.
So difficult to identify a way forward with this.
