Hi Kevin
I have had no ticket update. And nothing has changed. To be honest, I don't know who is responsible for a SVLAN change - I would have presumed BT, but that's just a guess. Neither am I sure what the implications of a change is/are.

I should have said - a VP change.... sorry it was a long week!

Re: BTO/Plusnet think this is acceptable

Hi LenAsh,
Apologies for the lack of update, with this being a bit of a speciality type order/request, it has to go to a specialist team who will pick it up and get the required work done for you. This can sometimes take a little longer than a normal order like a Modify so please bear with us while this is investigated and picked up.
Hopefully the wait will pay off with a shift to a less congested VP that should abolish the drops in performance you see at certain times of day.

Thanks for the update... I do hope it's an improvement on this -

BTW, we had a power cut today if you see any discons.

That's bad, and so was you BQM graph, so I captured it for the record, see attached.

Thanks for the update LenAsh,
I'll keep an eye on the support ticket for you and update it as needed. I would hope to see some movement on this soon though.

Regarding the suggestions of having the community put something together that could collate, interpret and present this information would be a fantastic idea and I'm sure the community has more than enough talent to get this done. Unfortunately the sheets do sit behind a login screen on the btwholesale website and I'm unsure on their requirements for signing up and account  Undecided

I've seen the spreadsheet and I'm not sure how useful it would be for people.
People won't know which S-VLAN they are on and the amber S-VLANs are normally upgraded within a couple of days.

Andy see http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,130416.msg1137624.html#msg1137624
Something looks like it's changed overnight looking at the BQM http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping/share-large/53280f182158f39bb95e6eb96f7e0839.png just after 0100 and again between 0400 & 0500. (A capture is attached for the record). Whether either was just routine maintenance or you've been moved at last, don't know. You could check to see if your Gateway has changed - I expect it may have whatever went on.

Re: BTO/Plusnet think this is acceptable

Ah thanks - yeah that to me would like you were moved SVLANs overnight, so now need to wait and see what happens with the peak time performance.
@ Adam C - Was the SVLAN amber or red for Ash in the latest spreadsheet? He was seeing 5% packet loss which means that the BTW monitoring cannot be reflective of end user performance if the SVLAN was only amber.

Re: BTO/Plusnet think this is acceptable

Morning all,
It looks like the ticket has been closed off with the request for the switch so this may well have gone ahead! Hopefully we should see some improvement in the evening speeds tonight.
@AndyH - The SVLAN was shown as blue in the last two sheets which would normally indicate that it is about to shift either to Amber or Green however it would normally only shift to Green after works to resolve an issue had been carried out and there was no data to show that this was planned or in progress so I would have deduced it was due to shift down to Amber.

Re: BTO/Plusnet think this is acceptable

Thanks for the answer - is it IPSV or SFBB you look at for fibre?
