Heres what the BT tester threw up for my line when i tested.
Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
Your DSL connection rate: 8128 kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP profile for your line is - 2000 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 1663 kbps
I've recently swapped ISP from pipex to plusnet and i was getting 6000kbps with pipex which is a lot faster than the current 2MB profile i seem to on currently.
Should i open a support ticket about this or is everyone experiencing slow speeds from plusnet?

This isn't down to Plusnet but to your IP profile of 2000kbps
You may have been on Tiscali LLU with Pipex and hence the training period will have restarted.
If you have been connected with Plusnet for more than the10 days training period raise a ticket explaining that you have a stuck IP Profile and can they get BT to fix it
