BT line profile vs PN line profile

I understand that the BT profile can take up to 72 hours to recover (having discussed with a PN advisor today under ticket number 24832726), however it's the PN profile that's at 1000kbps and the BT profile is at 2500kbps.
I've been having to disconnect the line once a day for the past few days and could understand possibly that the profile could drop, but does it actually take PN 72 hours to raise their profile to match BTs? I would've thought it would've near instantly (well whenever the profiles update - more than once a day?).

I think that if you look again, you'll find that that's no longer the case.
