BT Sales lie to a prospect

The OP of the thread containing this post was looking at Plusnet to save £65pa against his current Infinity. He did actually sign for PN.
Digital Care team have any views? I think it is decidedly bad form.

I had the same with Sky. Some of the stuff that they come out with to try and scare you from leaving is funny!

Re: BT Sales lie to a prospect

If somebody selling broadband over the phone is on commission or has targets then assume that they may not be completely impartial and just might tell the odd porky. I wonder how many PN sales staff claim to offer better performance than BT.
I do think that rep probably went too far though - he should have pointed to CS response times instead as I've seen scores of complaints about them in the short time I've been with PN and I don't recall seeing congestion complaints. Certainly my SamKnows box isn't reporting any.
