BT Profile Stuck

On my long, high attenuation (69db) line my router usually achieves a sync rate in the range 1800 to 2300 depending on prevailing conditions, so I usually have a BT Line Profile of either 1500 or 1750.  I find that typical times for the BT Profile to increase after a sync-boundary increase of 1 step can vary between 1 day and 5+ days, followed by a Plusnet time of 1+ days (if it exceeds 2 days then it always needs Plusnet to do a reset !).
On 31 Dec 2012, after a couple of noise spikes, my router dropped connection and resynced at 1740.....I wasn't around and didn't notice till 15 mins later, but it was long enough for my BT Profile to drop from 1750 to 1500. I resynced the line twice and settled for a stable rate of 2080 at SNRM 6 and 2080 has been maintained ever since - no subsequent drops.  But 7 days later my BT Profile is still stuck at 1500 instead of rising to 1750.
Plusnet: can you have my BT Profile unstuck please.
Jack

Re: BT Profile Stuck

Oh dear, lets forget my request! Some kind soul (or admittedly, noise spike) has had my line retrained this morning, and I've now lost my 2016+ sync rate......so BT profile stuck at 1500 is now appropriate.

Re: BT Profile Stuck

Hi jack21,
I've changed your BT profile so it's now at 1750, this can take up-to 24 hours to take affect but hopefully you'll see the difference in a couple of hours. I hope that helps, Let me know how you get on.
