Hi
My BRAS profile seems stuck at https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed it has been showing 4500 Kbps for the last 4 days all the time I have been syncing at 5696 kbps or higher.
I cannot access the bt speedtester to verify if it is a comms problem between BT and +net or a bras problem.
Could anyone from CSS help.
Ian

The official figure where your profile *should* change from 4500kbps to 5000kbps is a sync rate of 5696kbps.
I'm honestly not sure whether this means 5696kbps will result in a profile of 5000kbps or whether it has to be OVER 5696kbps.
You say over the last 4 days you have been syncing at 5696kbps or higher... if your sync rate is changing then this means that synchronisation is dropping periodically, either naturally or due to reboots of your router.
If you leave your router turned on for 3 to 5 days without rebooting it, hopefully your line will remain stable and you will see the profile increase.

5120-5695 will get you an IP profie of 4500. An higher sync 5696-6239 will get you a profile of 5000, but only after 3 days.

From my reading of your posts, you both seem to be in agreement
