BBYW Usage and DTW

Right, so I have gone over my 10GB peak time usage, but I have set the DTW tool automatically give me £5 more usage if I need it.
I am not sure if the DTW setting is working as my connection is now running slowly.
Can a PN bod please see if my connection is currently being throttled?

Re: BBYW Usage and DTW

Hmm, just noticed some other posts here saying their connections are 'slow'. Sad

deleted - I read your sig  Embarrassed
Does BBYW have a hard cap rather than restricting you to 135kbps - I thought it did

Re: BBYW Usage and DTW

BBYW limits you to 128kb/s, and after running a test on mybroadbandspeed, that is exactly what is happening at the moment.
Hmm, watching Tudors on iPlayer today is not going happen.

Re: BBYW Usage and DTW

Just been on the phone to CSC, my account was set to Fixed, which means setting values on DTW means nothing! It has now been changed to Flexible.
Problem Solved! Smiley

Re: BBYW Usage and DTW

Glad to hear you got it sorted.
That's quite a common problem on BBYW. DTW is available on all products which can have additional usage, but doesn't check the status of the BBYW products (fixed or flex).
I'll check with the content guys and see if we can get some text added to the DTW page.

Re: BBYW Usage and DTW

I just got an e-mail saying more usage has been added, £2 for 2GB, the PN portal tells me it is £1.22 for 1GB ... which is right?

Re: BBYW Usage and DTW

It is on Option 2 and 3.
It was the same on option 1 until we doubled the included usage allowance.
