Re: Any update?

Cheers James.............All well to the good if you can process it manually but don't panic if for some reason you can't; I'll just have to wait.

Re: Any update?

Sorry Rob - My quote from above was what I was getting when trying to place your order manually.

Re: Any update?

No worries James,  does that mean that I will have to wait until 31st October?............Rob

Re: Any update?

Hi James,
My previous order was cancelled as my exchange was not enabled at the time, however, I’ve now received a text to say that my order has been submitted (ref 4350015943) but I’m not sure how to check if my exchange has been enabled in the meantime; how would I do this?
Many thanks

Re: Any update?

It's been rejected again I'm afraid.
It's going to be a bit of a waiting game.  Give us a shout in a month and we can try again.

Re: Any update?

Phil tries to keep
http://usertools.plus.net/exchanges
up to date with the latest data. What I'll try and keep this page up to date:
http://community.plus.net/21cn-exchange-availability/
it looks a bit ugly at the moment, but I'll try and fix that. Note that unless it says Open on the exchange, we can't place any orders and the dates should only be used as a guide until it changes to Open.

Re: Any update?

Dave / James,
Now I am confused!
Using this link http://usertools.plus.net/exchanges/?exchange=Warwick&exact=1054&plugin=wbcdsl ;   my Warwick exchange has a code of CMWARW, however, on this link http://community.plus.net/21cn-exchange-availability/ CMWARW is described as Milton Keynes!  It can’t be both. CMWARW has a status of Open. This link http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange/CMWARW shows CMWARW as enabled 31/5/09 (if I’m reading it right) but my order to go onto the trial keeps being rejected I assume because the exchange is not enabled.
Would you please clarify the situation for me guys.
Thanks
Rob

Re: Any update?

ADSL/ADSL 2+ Services will be available at WARW on 22-09-2009;There is no exchange data available for FTTC.
Apparently though, there's an inflight order glidepathing towards the critical hydraulic, preventing the flight completion of an ADSL2+ order.

Re: Any update?

Okay. So ADSL/ADSL 2+ Services  are now available on my exchange, however, you lose your ‘Plain English Award’ for this one James. ‘there's an inflight order glidepathing towards the critical hydraulic, preventing the flight completion of an ADSL2+ order’
I get  the drift that something is currently stopping the order going through but I genuinely do have the first idea what that means, help!

Re: Any update?

I was mocking some BT slang and seeing if I could catch out any ex-employees Smiley  I don't have the slightest idea what half of that means!
Basically, it looks like ADSL2+ is available, but the ordering system seems to think that there is a voice or broadband order currently progressing which is preventing us from placing another broadband one.

Re: Any update?

At first I thought it was something to do with a particular item hitting a fan!
As I’m sure you can confirm by checking my record with you, I have made no such request or order. How do we get ‘the system’ to understand that there are no orders outstanding? Apart from the one we are trying to get actioned of course.
Hope this isn’t coming across as narky, I have nothing but massive respect for the help that you give us James, just a bit miffed about what’s happening

Re: Any update?

I'll drop BT an email and ask when the order is going to stop flying.
