Had a large packet loss    web pages slow to load

no packet loss but sluggish browsing, about same as during world cup

Was slightly sluggish this morning, I'd put it down to the VPN - maybe it wasn't...

No ADSL connection till about 10:00  Looks like the electrical storms last night caused a few problems locally in North Norfolk.  Back to normal now.

We are getting erratic speeds (0.6 to 6.9) on four separate plusnet accounts but a local forum indicates that anyone using the BT backbone in Orkney is suffering the same problem. Some Bt staff are telling their customers that it is their equipment at fault, with others saying it is a bt fault which will be repaired today, whilst others state it will be a few weeks.Some are saying the faults is more widespread and covering most of Scotland. Now I remember why we all left BT

I lost connection a couple times today, probably no more than 20 seconds. No big deal though.

We're aware of a number of issues across the country due to some severe weather over the weekend.
There is a Service Status on it's way out now. It's too early to tell which areas specifically are affected by this.
