Any problems on Friday, on ptw-ag01, or in general ?

Did anyone have any problems with packet loss on Friday? Either related to ptw-ag01, or on some routes out of Plusnet? Anything specific to FTTC connections?
I had problems throughout the day, but have no real explanation of what caused them.
The first I noticed was with problems using my PC to access any number of websites, but not all websites. Some responded fine, while some didn't.
This was with my PC connected wirelessly to the router (TP-Link WDR3600), and I was attached to ptw-ag01.
I initially used my TBB BQM to check behaviour, and it seemed to be fine - no packet loss whatsoever. I've attached it below.
I later checked with my SamKnows tests, which showed packet loss of more than 10% starting at 7AM and running until 17:30 when I rebooted the router. The Samknows box doesn't use wireless, ruling that part out.
I also checked the modem (HG612) but it wasn't reporting any noticeable amount of CRC or ES different from the norm.
Whatever the problem was, it was seen by 2 machines, wired and wireless, suggesting the problem lay in a common section, from router back up the network. But, with nothing obvious on the BQM that pings the router, that appeared fine. The modem appeared fine too (both had been up & running for 20 days)
I rebooted the router at 17:30 (hence the red spike on the BQM), and connected via pcl-ag03; I saw no sign of a problem after that - suggesting that the problem must have been either the router or gateway.
I'm a bit flummoxed, but mostly suspect the router. Anyone have any other ideas?

I also had problems connecting to arcade games in starcraft 2 earlier, it would just hang on entering lobby, I was able to connect when VPN'd although that was less than ideal as I was getting a jot of stuttering (probably jitter from the VPN, luckely I was playing a tower-defence map so it didn't matter to much)
I'd look into the starcraft issue in more detail but I'm far to tied to start trying to figure out what it's connecting to which i'd need to do before I can attempt any further diagnostics.
Edit:
Looking at my PPPoE logs it looks like the last gateway I auth'd with is indeed PTW-AG01, Annoyingly whoever designed the PPPoe client in Vyatta/EdgeOS didn't implement time-stamping of log entries

Yeah - that traceroute also confirms that you're connected to ptw-ag01.
Very interesting to see that your packet loss both starts at the same time, but is also roughly the same amount.
I wonder if a reconnection to a new gateway will fix it. I'm really wishing I'd tried doing a disconnect/connect sequence, rather than a reboot.

My thoughts would be a peering or core network link between plusnet and the host machine, that is in some way faulty or is too busy(near or at capacity ) to reply to icmp , if it was the gateway i would think that you would see the same or similar packet loss to all destinations

Can't be that as there is Packetloss to the final destination (In this case my home router) and the graph just pings the endpoint.
A symptom of ICMP rate limiting is usually were intermediary hops show packet-loss but the subsistent hops don't.

Plusnet's network team should be able to determine if there's a problem with one of their links or not as they'll be able to run tests from the router itself and then they can either Fix it if it's their end or raise it with the Transit/peering provider.
Edit:
Raised a Ticket with Support, anyone else with problems it might be worth doing the same but ideally post some diagnostic info to back it up (E.g ping/ traceroutes.etc) as it will hopefully help them pinpoint the issue.
Edit2: Reconnected and got PCL-AG03 and now not seeing any packetloss which does tend to support the theory it's PTW-AG01 that has a problem
