Re: Another weird speed problem

Magic  Smiley  I now have a sync speed of 3360Kbps.  That's better than I had for several years.  How did you do it?

Magic Wink
Actually, I just reset the SNR down to 6dB

Re: Another weird speed problem

Interesting.  The last year or so my SNR was 6dB but the best sync speed I got was around 2.8M.  However I don't think it will make any difference since it doesn't put me up into the next IP profile band.  Cry  Interleaving is still on so that isn't the reason.

Mind you, one possible silver lining...
[quote=BT Availability Checker]Your cabinet is planned to have WBC FTTC by 31st December 2011. Our test also indicates that your line currently supports a fibre technology with an estimated WBC FTTC Broadband where consumers have received downstream line speed of 28.1Mbps

Re: Another weird speed problem

That would be great but I'm not getting my hopes up.  I've not seen any sign of any work being done in my area yet and my "cabinet" is actually a hole in the ground.  I was expecting that FTTC would be only installed in the more heavily populated areas (that already have cable and good ADSL speeds  Roll_eyes )
