HI all!
I am thinking of upgrading my router. The one supplied (Technicolor 582n) seems weak on wireless transmission, and in fact has dropped out a few times. My problem is that I'm really not sure what would be a sensible upgrade, and what would be a waste of money!
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I think my PC is single band. If it helps my network card is a GIGABIT 10-BASE-GT Realtech RTL811DL 10/100.
Hope that makes some sense to you!

Maybe check what firmware you have on your router - that latest (I believe) 10.2.2.B was, inter alia , meant to improve the wifi.

Before spending hard earned dosh please read this - http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,147742.0.html
Make sure you have done all that you can to optimise wifi operation first, or you might find spending dosh delivers no benefit.
