Hi Colin,

Your DSL Connection Rate :960 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM)

That's your problem, you are connecting at a low speed to the exchange.
Can you give us the rest of the stats from your router? If you go to this link and give us the stats from the page it'll help out:

Re: After 6 months trouble free...ITS STARTED AGAIN !!!!!

Feel stupid replying to my own post but just noticed my thomson tg5855v7 modem seems to be playing up. The end 2 lights broadband and internet (nearest to the right) are not always on, they are fluctuating and saying my dsl is down ....not sure if this is anything to do with the problem Huh
p.s tried a different grey lead but still the same .

Re: After 6 months trouble free...ITS STARTED AGAIN !!!!!

The connection logs are showing 9 connections since midnight, so your line doesn't look as stable as it could be.
Is the router plugged into the master socket? Have you tried an alternate filter? Are any extension leads in use? Are any other phone points in use filtered.
If the answers are yes, yes, no, yes then we need to investigate this as an intermittent connection rather than a speed issue as it'll be the connection dropping causing the speed problems.

Thanks, I'll close the current fault and reopen a new one as an intermittent connection.

Re: After 6 months trouble free...ITS STARTED AGAIN !!!!!

If all the other extensions are wired off the numbered terminals on back of the filtered face plate you don't need filters in the extensions (having them won't be affecting your fault).

Re: After 6 months trouble free...ITS STARTED AGAIN !!!!!

See how you go, but filtered faceplates can go wrong just like any other filter.
Any further problems and I'd be using a filter in the Test Socket.  Wink
