Activation 8th still not happened

I can presume that even thou activation date is today it can be at any point , not like a new connection that mostley happens during the night on the date .
Hurry up BTw switch me  Grin

It can be anytime up to midnight. As these ADSL2+ are being done as single provides BT will be doing them as BAU (Business as usual) and therefore will be done by the normal day staff. But the normal day staff now work approximately 8 to 5 and 7pm to 7am, so your ADSL+2 can be provided anytime today.
If it was a mass migration then it will be done by a specialised team that work at night and normally would provide between midnight and 7am.

Singleton orders are ordered using the WBC portal or B2B gateway. Singleton product migration orders are entered as Provide orders.  This is defined in the WBC Product Handbook.
· To distinguish a migration order from a standard new  provide order where there is no change of CP, the service id (SID) of the old Ipstream/Datastream service must be included in the order.
· If there is a change of CP, a valid MAC must be obtained from the End User and included in the order.
There is a five day lead time for standard singleton orders. However if a change of Care Level is required this will result in a six day lead time to allow time for the care modify order to complete first.
Singleton migrations are completed by the same engineers that execute all exchange frames activities e.g. all provide/cease/home movers across all product groups. If an exchange is particularly busy then CPs may find the lead time for a migration order (and any other frames work) may be impacted. This will be reflected in Keep Customer Informed 2 (KCI2) notification – the Customer Promise Date. Singleton orders are executed during normal working hours, five days a week.

The specialised teams normally consist of 6 people.

dont belive it . couple of mins after posting last reply and my connection goes down for 2 mins back up now and running on adsl2 down 3987 up 883.

How do you know your activation date? All I've got is please allow 10-15 days for completion.

Well its 6am on the 9th , activation was yesterday . and i do think they have forgotten about me  Grin . Dam BTw

My date was changed from the 8th to today due to capacity issues , was this something to do with the major distruption last week ? , also could we please check to see if the order is progressing fine this time round .
