Acer Chromebook used to connect but now only for a few seconds

Before I order a new router, have you tried a factory reset of the router by pushing a paperclip into the reset pin hole at the back for 20 seconds? Do you also have any other devices which work fine when using the router?

Hi, I'm having the same issue with my son's Chromebook. It works everywhere else on other people's WIFI, but not at home on Plusnet. 

All other devices at home are fine.  

Do you think I need a new router?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your son's Chromebook and I apologise for the frustration caused. Did the Chromebook used to connect and now doesn't? Do you notice any flashing lights on the router at the time of connecting? What error messages are you seeing on the Chromebook when it tries to connect?
