About your broadband speed

Been on Plusnet for 14 days now so I got the 'About your broadband speed' email this morning:

When you signed up for your broadband account, we performed a check on your telephone line to give you an estimated speed your line might achieve.
Now that your service has now been active for 14 days, we thought we'd let you know the speed as it stands today, by way of comparison.
Estimated line speed: 7Mbps
Current line speed: 37Mbps

Pleased to see an increase in the IP Profile speed but slightly puzzled by the (original) Estimated line speed of 7Mbps because the Member Centre shows an Estimated line speed of 34Mb(ps) (consistent with the sign up email and the line checker).
Not unduly worried by this but I wondered if anyone else had received this email recently and been puzzled by the information it contained? Looks like a bug in the email generation...  Wink  Grin

Hi bluefish2303,
I've checked that and it looks like it returned you the ADSL2 speed estimate, I've flagged this up in-case it's a widespread issue but haven't seen any other with this yet.
Your connection seems to be configured correctly.
If there's anything please let me know.
