ADSL2+ and Netgear DG834v2 router

First post on here - hope its in the right place.
Ive just replied to an email invite from Plusnet to join the trial. I have a Netgear DG834v2 router - its a few years old, and they are up to v5 now it seems. I just updated the firmware to 3.01.38 which says "The ADSL driver has been updated to improve ADSL2+ interoperability."
I think its OK, but can anyone confirm this router will work?  Ive searched these boards and elsewhere for confirmation that my specific router model is compatible. The term 'interoperability' doesnt necessarily suggest to me that it will deliver the full benefit of the service.
