ADSL2+ Hardware effects possibly

On Huawei there was signs of compatibility issues from the TalkTalk roll-out, so face of no surprise is showing.
But someone probably got a good deal.
I've got some data that shows on ADSL2+ on the same line the choice of hardware makes a big difference, and price is not the factor, we need to write that up at some point.

I'm sure we've asked them about that, but will have to check up...

Optus has admitted the Huawei hardware running its ADSL2+ broadband network "does not support" certain brands of modem.
Worse, if a user tries to connect with one of the modems, it will lock up the user's port at the exchange, requiring a manual reset by Optus technical staff.

Re:ADSL2+ Hardware effects possibly

I know we've been asking questions as Dave says, but isn't Optus an Australian ISP?
Either way I'll give Dave a nudge and see where we got to.
