ADSL2+ 18Mb/s down but 443kb/s up

Hello

I wonder if the settings of my ADSL connection could be checked please?

The connection is very reliable, but I think it looks like the upstream sync rate is stuck at ADSL1 speeds (?).

The router (Billion 7800N) reports an ADSL2+ connection, with a consistent downstream sync of 18+ Mb/s. (see table below)

It has been like this since moving house a few months ago - the old location had a much slower line, so I was wondering if some setting or other had got carried over from the old to the new?

Thanks

Rhys

Operational Mode ADSL2+

Upstream 443

Downstream 18519

SNR Margin(Upstream) 31.7

SNR Margin(Downstream) 3.3

Line Attenuation(Upstream) 14.4

Line Attenuation(Downstream) 26.0

Fix

Hi Rhys.

It looks like you've been provisioned on a capped upstream.

I've placed an order to correct that, could you let us know how your speeds look tomorrow?

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Great, that’s fixed it - 1223kb/s upload sync this morning.
Thank you once again Anoush.
