Has anyone had ADSL Nation filtered face plate go faulty? I've had two now and both exhibited noisy phone line fault on both voice and broadband.

No, but I have new spare XTE-2005 just in case !  Undecided

Do any of the capacitors look domed or leaking ?

The capacitors look fine as do everything else. What I find odd is the noise was intermittent, I would have thought of there was a faulty component the noise would be there all the time.
