A Stuck PN profile? (Fixed)

Hi All, I have been with Plusnet for over a year now (can't believe its been that long) and whenever my Line has resynced at a lower or higher speed the plusnet profile has generally followed it within a day or so, but not this month  Roll_eyes
My Profile was quick enough to go down from 2000 to 1500 to follow the BT profile, but has not been so quick to go back up. Is this a deliberate attempt by Plusnet to reduce the bandwidth used by its customers over the Christmas Holidays  :-\?
Could we please have a button on the PN profile page (High-speed Broadband) to force an update to the profile (either real-time or at least, to be put in a list for updating at the next interval - every 8 hours perhaps?)
Results of the last 4 BT speed Tests:
28-11-09 (11.44)
Download speedachieved during the test was - 1365 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 400-2000 Kbps.
Your DSL Connection Rate :2368 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 1500 Kbps
02-12-09 (20.03)
Download speedachieved during the test was - 1300 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 400-2000 Kbps.

04-12-09 (13.27)
Download speedachieved during the test was - 1313 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 400-2000 Kbps.
Your DSL Connection Rate :2368 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 2000 Kbps
07-12-09 (11:49)
Download speedachieved during the test was - 1275 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 400-2000 Kbps.
Your DSL Connection Rate :2368 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 2000 Kbps

As you can see its been at least 5 days since the BT profile went up, yet my PN profile is still 1500, could somebody please give it a kick. 500k might not seem like much for those of you lucky enough to get 8MB (or even 21MB) but its a 1/4 of my bandwidth  Sad
Thank you in advance for your help.

Re: A Stuck PN profile?

Hi,
I've given it a nudge in the right direction for you, can you reboot your modem/router and you should get back to your normal speeds.

Re: A Stuck PN profile?

Cheers Chris. All back to normal.
Is there any reason for some PN profiles not updating automatically sometimes? or is it just one of those things?
Thanks,
Vip3r.

Re: A Stuck PN profile? (Fixed)

AFAIK it fails to update for one of two reasons: Either we don't receive notification from BT Wholesale, or we do receive notification but the script that processes all of the connection profile changes doesn't have enough time to complete before it either times out/runs again (can't remember which).
