7800n Ewan Throughput

My internal LAN is cat5E and to my WHS I can max out at 105MB/s downloading a file, however using the ewan port to the eci modem I am not reaching full potential.
I am unable to connect to the fttc modem directly creating a PPPOE connection within windows 7.
is this normal as I am looking at a possible router replacement or all in one solution like a 2750
Download speed achieved during the test was - 66.47 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 16 Mbps-77.44 Mbps .
Additional Information:
IP Profile for your line is - 77.44 Mbps
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 16.76Mbps
Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 20 Mbps

I'm confused. Are you connecting to the net now through the computer >> router >> modem?
If for some reason you want to go computer >> modem, that works fine as well.  If that fails, you have finger trouble in your Win7 settings.

Re: 7800n Ewan Throughput

I am even more confused
You are quoting a file transfer speed of 105 megabytes per second presumably over a Gbit LAN
But then you are talking about the modem and I fail to see the relevance of that
I assume that by WHS you mean Windows Home Server and if so how are you connecting your device to that - via the router LAN or via a direct connection

Capped @ 66.5MB

MY IP profile is 77.4 and stable since install on 24th
Have tried direct connection to the ECI modem also
seems to me when I hit around 66.5MB it bounces back down and starts to increase in throughput
can someone check it out for me please

Re: Capped @ 66.5MB

We adjusted your profile to 70400 based on an update from BT on : 2013-12-24 18:17:22.  That's still valid based on a quick check.

It's set correctly based on your current BT profile.

Re: 7800n Ewan Throughput

Is it not just a WAN port not EWAN.....definition of EWAN => 1Gb/s

never seen it called an EWAN port before today?
