582n Firmware version

My Plusnet supplied 582n is running the 8.4.4.I version of the firmware.
I have found versions 8.4.4.J and R10.2.1.8 on the Plusnet website.
What are the benefits of the upgrades? Would it be prudent to upgrade and why might I pick one version rather than the other?

Re: 582n Firmware version

I suspect the R10.2.1.8 is for the ADSL version of the router and 8.4.4.J is for the fibre version which i guess you are on from your firmware
I am current on 8.C.M.0 which i got last month when upgrading to fibre, maybe you could ask the PN staff for that version as i would think that is the current one they are shipping out.

8.4.4.J is on mine so not for fibre, guessing its just the beta version number they use

Re: 582n Firmware version

Does the 8.4.4.J version support a USB printer?  BE appear to have a version that does that.
I suspect that the R10 version has IPV6

Re: 582n Firmware version

Mine doesn't have a USB port and no USB options with its web interface, so no

Re: 582n Firmware version

Mine has a port and the CLI accepts printersharing commands.
So far I have not got it to print though!
