Typing in all caps is likely to get the backs of the mods up.

Re: *21CN ONLY* Do you think your PN profile is not updating as it should?

Jim,
Being serious now...  Do iRC that you are on a 20CN service?
Is there any intel which suggests that the new spate of failure to drop PPP on applying a delta update is restricted to 20CN lines?
I'm wondering if this could be connected to the issues of trying to administer 20CN lines through BTw's 21CN management tools, which we are aware has been extremely problematic?

Speed dropped yesterday evening - power cut caused by truck hitting pole - and profile updated over night with PPP drop

Now waiting for final 0.1Mb rise to 15.9Mb to register, but I think it'll be Tuesday!

2d 17h 17''' since this router sync event and no upwards PN Line Speed update yet. Heading towards my predicted 72(ish) hours...
(Please don't manually adjust it PN - I'm waiting to see what happens.)
@Oldjim: Out of curiosity, was your speed drop 'significant' or <0.2Mb?

Re: *21CN ONLY* Do you think your PN profile is not updating as it should?

Just to add something here, our profile hasn't updated yet as your profile on the BT system that sends these is showing as 15816, so a profile of 15800 is correct. That recorded your sync as 17927 on the 13th October. Therefore this isn't our system not picking up the new speed, it's that we haven't received notification of a new speed.

Yes, BobP picked this fact up. So is the BT system set to quickly report big drops/rises but hold fire on little ones in case they are temporary? That's how it looks. Or does this phenomenon only happen with my little rises?

Yay!
75ish hours to update PN line speed. It's not triggered a session disconnect/reconnect yet though.

If it doesn't happen immediately or within an hour or so it isn't going to as it means that the automatic system has failed again

Re: *21CN ONLY* Do you think your PN profile is not updating as it should?

Thanks forthe tip. It didn't do it automatically so I did it manually.

Did you see any improvement in speed as a result of dropping the PPP session?

Re: *21CN ONLY* Do you think your PN profile is not updating as it should?

FYI guys and gals, I was informed yesterday that a fix has been rolled which should mean everyone should see the PPP drop now when needed for the Current Line Speed update.
