Sorry I missed your earlier post, I have raised your profile to 19000 to allow for your new BT IP profile. This should take effect shortly.
@oldjim,
Still think it's an anomaly or we'd be seeing a lot more of it. Besides which, Dave said it's not possible.

Line Sync = 12498 Kbps
BT profile = 11026 Kbps
Plusnet line speed = 5.8 Mb
Uptime = 72+ hours
Speed tests are consistent with the Plusnet line speed.

I've just set your profile to 11000 to match your BT IP profile, you should see the increase shortly.

For the record, mine took just over 7 days to match the IP profile. Not really that bad if you're just waiting for a minute change (3.6 to 3.7 in my case), but I can imagine it would be pretty damn annoying if you were waiting for a bigger change!

Not sure if I'm jumping the gun with this one as my BT profile only changed about 20 hours ago, but having had trouble before I thought this might be of use to you.
Yesterday I updated the software in my router and the downstream speed went from 6819 to 7611. The BT profile immediately went up to 6715 (from just over 6000), and I hoped the PN profile would move up from 6.0 overnight, but it hasn't. If you think I should wait for more time OK, but if not a push from you would be appreciated!

The PPP session will have dropped with me changing the profile so you could pick up the new speed.

I'm confident that I have also had download speeds higher than Plusnet profile. Reason I'm confident is that various download rate montors and speedtest sites gave corresponding figures at those times. Tended to be following re-sync that resulted in higher connection speed but PN profile not changing.

I've just been speaking to our suppliers and I've some news. They have identified the issue and are initiating a fix for it. Sadly, it's not a simple one and will take a number of weeks to implement.
In the meantime I'll be happy to change anyone manually, although I'd appreciate it if it wasn't on a daily basis, unless, of course it's severely impeding your speed.
Thank you all for providing me with the examples and I'll update here when we get an idea as to when it will be resolved.
