Firstly I'd just like to apologised that we missed your post. I can assure you though that we would have answered you. I was off that week and we may have been a bit snowed under.
I've just been having a look at your connection logs and there have been a couple of drop so this may have been when your sync rate dropped.
I've ran a line test and your current sync rate is 2816k, just slightly short of the 2848k needed to push the profile up to 2500k. Maybe a daylight hours reboot could get it just over that.

Thanks for the reply,
I have done a reboot tnis morning and it came back up at the 2816 again, so I will have to resign myself to the fact that I am unlikely to ever get back to the 2.2 I had for the month of August.
And being a little backwater Burg I can't think that BT will ever unbundle our exchange or upgrade to fibre optics, So much for brown's promise of a minimum of 2 meg download for all by 2012.
