1st BT Home Hub 2.0A worked with Plusnet, 2nd one won't!

When my friend switched to Plusnet last year he acquired a brand new 'BT Home Hub V2.0 Type A' from another friend.
I tried it first, straight out of the box, with my own Plusnet connection and it worked perfectly. Then I gave it back it to him and it has worked perfectly with his Plusnet ever since.
I have now bought an identical BT Home Hub 2A on Ebay and I cannot get it to work with my Plusnet connection. It connects to the computer (wired or wireless) but not the web. Any ideas anyone?!

Hi Martineau,
Getting home hubs to work with other ISPs than BT usually involves a firmware upgrade.
If you search these forums I'm positive you'll find a post that points you in the right direction for that.

I'm pleased to report it's now working. I reset it back to factory defaults (again) and after a while it just connected and is now working fine. Thanks for your reply anyway.
