Welcome to the forums
If this is the first time you've had broadband you will be in a 10 day training period which might affect your speed.
If you can keep your synch at 4704 for 3 days you should see improved speeds as your IP profile will increase.
I'm sure more knowledgeable people will be along to help shortly

These are your connection rates, it's your throughput that is 120k, thinking about it was that the result from the BT speedtester?
If so can you try http://www.mybroadbandspeed.co.uk and see that says.

Hi there,
Was your line maxDSL'd before or have you just had it with PN, and perhaps had a fixed rate connection with your previous provider?
Firstly a warning with maxDSL, especially if you are in the first 10 days training period, if you disconnect too frequently the exchange DLM thinks you have a line problem and will raise your Target SNRM which will result in lower sync speeds.
If you want/need to swap filters or modem/routers it is best to power down the modem/router and wait a few minutes before unplugging the filter or the line. Try to avoid doing this several times in rapid succession, and best not more than 5 times in an hour, and then leave it alone for the rest of the day.
What modem/routers have you got to choose from? Have you got good quality filters?
Could you post your latest DSL Line stats - please do a copy/paste rather than the format you used before, I don't know if there's a typing error but the US Atten doesn't look right.
Can your try running the BT speedtester - http://www.speedtester.bt.com/ as well as
the Plusnet one - http://www.mybroadbandspeed.co.uk/
and post the results. If you could also login to the member centre https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed and post that info (without the last 6 digits of your phone number.
Also please check what gateway you are on - http://usertools.plus.net/@gateway/
and what your exchange VP status is http://usertools.plus.net/exchanges/
