See if you can dig out that TG582n (don't put it on yet) in case we have to start some more detailed diagnostics to get to the bottom of this. Keep an ear on your phone calls for noises, with intermittent issues you don't always catch noise on the Quiet Line Test.

Was checking the loft today...unfortunately not a chance until the mother moves out.
Internet is a pain at the moment as it keeps disconnecting every few minutes.
My friends is still nice and stable, and mine is still a pain. Any joy on your end plusnet? besides the regular payments your way of course.

Might be an idea if you could post the latest stats. Also the results of the BTw Performance test (DON'T REBOOT, ignore the red preamble except make sure no other programs are using the Internet) and at the end of the first run, click the Further Diagnostics button, enter just your Phone number and Run the Further Diagnostics Test.
Do a Copy and Paste of the results and post here (no need to grab an image) also your Current Line speed (Login required).
We'll have to get Plusnet to post a Vis.radius graph.
