0.2mbit/s download speed

We aren't ignoring anyone. You updated your fault ticket on the 26th and it can take a couple of days to receive a reply as we work through the oldest tickets first to make sure it's fair for everyone. I have replied to your ticket now.

actually i was ignored since monday! i'm now getting a dowload speed of about 1 mbit\s. is there anything you can check on the line?

Monday was the 26th
I've had a look at the line and it's been banded, though the profile is at 750kbit/s which isn't at the top of the banding - it looks like the connection's a bit intermittent, or was until the banding and 750k profile was applied. Best bet is to update your ticket advising it's now a dropping connection issue and our faults team will pick it up for you.

2nd of october has passed so can you run some line tests please? the modem is plugged into the master socket.
i'm getting download speeds of 0.7 mbits/s
adsl type is set to auto
any ideas whats happening?

Definitely looks like a dropping connection. I've run a test and added details to the ticket for you, that should be updated soon

an engineer has been out but i've still got problems. i'm stuck at download of 0.7 mbit/s. getting slightly fed up now.

Hi robmov100,
Your line has been banded from 576-1152k this means you won't sync higher than 1152, your current sync is 1151, so I'm going to try to lift the banding and see what it goes up to.
