Should the purchase of bolt on be prevents when you have unlimited minutes or texts

I've got unlimited minutes and texts, however the app is suggesting that I can buy more through a bolt on. Surely it should know I'm unlimited thus there's no point in buying any more.

I've not tried to put through a purchase to see if the purchase is actually prevented in case I am actually charged.
