Apps to pause WiFi on connected devices?

I'm looking for an app to pause or stop the WiFi on devices that are connected to it. I've been told that other ISPs have apps that can be downloaded, but does Plusnet?

I did use to use Fing but you now have to pay to use the app, if you want to pause devices (I'm not paying each month for that). So are there others? Thanks

@Portoman Plusnet do not have such an app, and I am not aware of any ISP that does. However, there is an 'access control' option on the Plusnet Hub which will do what you want - I think - but as I don't have a PN Hub, and have never used the option, I can't advise on setting it up, or its functions.

I am going slightly mad or was there a whole lot more posts to this thread.

My comments about how VM's Connect app can Pause Wi-Fi devices on a VM Hub.

Other comments suggesting a Whitelist i.e. a permitted list of known devices (3COM had that on ADSL routers)

your sanity is assured, I recall commenting on this thread, my last suggestion was whitelisting

The 'app' required is surely just a basic web broswer to access the router control page ?

Then turn the wi-fi off.

Turning it back on remotely will be more tricky - you'd need a wired connection !!
