topic Configuring attached Fritz!Box 7530 in Tech Help - Software/Hardware etc

I have a Fritz!Box 7530 set up (I hope) as an IP client attached to the master PN Hub Two by LAN cable.

I have wi-fi disabled on the PN router but want to be able to switch it on and off in another part of the house using the WLAN button on the Fritz!Box placed there.

The wi-fi seems to work fine and creates an excellent usable Plusnet signal, but using the button itself only causes the WLAN light to flash and then revert to whatever it was set to.

I can enable and disable wi-fi in the Fritz!Box web interface, and it also works instantly when dialling the on/off numbers on an attached phone, but I just want to make it quick and simple for users.

I have tried all the fixes/settings in the Fritz!Box support pages and nothing makes any difference, so have come to the conclusion that it must be something going on between the Plusnet and Fritz!Box? Something quite simple perhaps? Has anybody else experienced this problem and solved it please?

Unbelievable! THANK YOU so much!

I can't tell you how long I've spent messing about with the settings in the router, when the answer was that I was just holding the button down for too long!! I didn't see that in the Fritz!Box 'knowledge base', especially as there is a separate WPS button. And as for Google AI – it know nothing! Happy Sunday morning to you too njay

Disabling Wi-Fi causes mobiles to loose Wi-Fi calling and to revert to mobile data.

Is that a desirable outcome.
