If they want to keep any of them, back the phone up using SmartSwitch. Delete from the gallery, then from the recycle bin and they should be gone.

I have a friend with a Samsung S24.

She is getting messages from Google that she has exceeded her 16GB cloud storage limit. I have found literally thousands of photos and videos by logging in to the account on my PC.These I have downloaded and deleted from the cloud. As you may guess, by the next day they are back, along with another memory full message!

So I get that I need to delete them from the phone. Simple me thought that all that I needed to do was to use my PC to access the.DCIM folder via USB. There’s nothing in there! I get the same if I look in Gallery.

When in airplane mode the photos are still available so I know that they’re lurking in the phone somewhere.

So where are they? Is there a way of bulk deleting them, preferably using the phone connected to my PC via USB?

@Baldrick1 I have a Samsung phone not an S24 though!. I have two camera apps, the Samsung pre-installed one and OpenCamera. In my case the photos are in the subdirectories Camera & OpenCamera of the DCIM directory.

There's also a Pictures directory but that's empty in my case.
