Bridge mode on the Plusnet hub is for an ADSL/FTTC connection, not full fibre. It effectively turns it into a dumb modem.

You don't need the Plusnet Hub at all to do what you want. You just need to configure the XR500 to use a PPP connection and connect its WAN port directly to the Openreach ONT.

The PPP connection will need configuring with your Plusnet broadband username and password. See here.

Hi

I've recently changes from sky to plusnet full fiber, no issues with connection or anything.

My only issue is I use my Netgear nighthawk Xr500 as my main house hub. I mainly use it for device managment for my children (and sometimes my wife to annoy her) but when turning on bridging on the plusnet router, my nighthawk doesn't seem to pick up the settings and allow Internet access. Is there anything I need to turn on with the plusnet router to allow the nighthawk to pick the DNS setting up?

Thanks
