DrayTek Vigor 167 modem path mode ?

Does anyone here use a DrayTek Vigor 167 modem ?

I've used probably a dozen different modems and modem/routers on my VDSL2 connection, and ALL of them reliably connect as FASTPATH for both upstream and downstream paths.

However my most recent acquisition, the Vigor 167 is always INTERLEAVED on the downstream.

I'm just wondering if anyone else is having the same result, or does yours connect as FASTPATH ?

I've installed the latest firmware, tried all the different modem DSL code versions (for different FTTC cabinet types).

The line is absolutely quiet, and has only clocked up 12 errors over a month of VDSL up-time, with most of those in the first minute.

If I go back to any different modem, they all immediately connect as FASTPATH, but back to the 167 and it's INTERLEAVED !

I've raised a support ticket with DrayTek, who previously (on other modems issues) would email me new firmware within a week, but for this issue I not had any useful response for a month now, other than to say they're going to investigate after I sent them detailed line stats from several different modems that they could compare with what the Vigor 167 is doing.

If you own a DrayTek 167, can you post a screenshot of your line stats, to add to my collection of evidence !

In return, if DrayTek ever come up with a better working firmware, I'll PM you a link to the updated code.

I am also interleaved on the downstream after the first resync while using the Vigor 167. Did you ever get this sorted?
