I have also tried to run the Plusnet Hub 2 in Modem only mode

@djmoore01 that certainly wont work for FTTP.

You have two options:-

1) Forget about the Hub 2, connect the M2 directly to the ONT. Set its WAN connection as PPPoE with your PLusnet username & password.

2) Use the HUb 2, connect the M2 to a LAN port on the HUb2 , set the M2 to 'Access point mode'

Now the bad news! I cant find any manual for the M2 ( save a two page 'user guide' !) so in the absence of that its difficult to give any detailed instructions. Most if the infoamtion on the M2 seems to be US based

edit: this https://mercku.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/5275254896541-How-do-I-Change-my-Internet-Connection-Settings shows how to change the Internet settings on the M2 and it does appear to support PPPoE.

So go for option 1) you'll find the details on PPPoE settings here https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/broadband-connection-settings/ ( use the 'what settings should i use when connected to a BT openreach modem' )

Hi

I have full fibre (300MB) and a Plusnet Hub 2.

I have purchased a Mercku Hive M2 system. I have connected this and followed all of the set-up instructions provided by Mercku, but I cannot get their hub to connect to the internet.

I have also tried to run the Plusnet Hub 2 in Modem only mode, and still no internet connection to the new Mesh hub.

I have tried all LAN ports using a variety of ethernet cables.

Any advice please, before it goes flying out of the window?!?!?!

Thanks everyone
