Hi,

I have just git Full Fibre from PlusNet, and signed up to a separate VOIP provider.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced phone that will work as a VOIP phone?

Your current phone may well work if you're happy with it. You may need a Analogue Telephone Adaptor (ATA).

Note that without extra work you lose any extensions within the house.

If you have a mobile one option is to put one of the softphone voip apps on it, which allows it to function as a voip handset. Most are free for the basic app, but worth paying the small fee to get the push notifications add-on, which means the app does not have to be permanently open to receive calls (which is a huge battery drain)

Personally I would buy someting that the VOIP service supplier sells or has instructions for.

The "minimum change" option is some kind of VoIP to phone adaptor (ofter a Grandstream unit) and connecting that to your phone or phones.

Possibly nicer is to go down the Gigaset route or something else.

I've no connection with the firm and I'm not (yet) a customer but having had a look around for when I have to take this route, I liked the look of liGo as a supplier.
