How do I move/share my calendar from Windows Mail to Thunderbird?

I've successfully set up 2 x Thunderbird email accounts (Hotmail and Plusnet), but cannot seem to share/move my calendar across (which I rely on). Can anyone help please?

Perhaps not entirely helpful. but one reason (of a number) that I stopped using Thunderbird, was that I couldn't get the calendar working nicely.

I assume that your calendar is with Hotmail (Microsoft).

As far as I know, all Microsoft (email) accounts use Exchange Sync.

A quick search leads to: TbSync :: Add-ons for Thunderbird

Having said that, I'm not sure it is a path I would go down.

My solution was to use Outlook (I needed a Microsoft Office upgrade to do this) rather than Thunderbird.

My use was slightly different as my main Calendar is with Google rather than Microsoft but I couldn't get the Google calendar working well with Thunderbird either.
