Wifi wont Auto connect on smart TV

Hello,

We have recently switched to plusnet to get a cheaper price. however the smart TV doesn't autoconnect to the wifi and has to be done manually every time you switch it back on. We only use the TV through the internet so this is very annoying.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Also the Alexa wont connect to the wifi either?

Hi Christinanoah,
What make and model is the TV?
The first troubleshooting step I would try is to reset the TV back to factory defaults to clear all settings.
Then see if the TV will reconnect to WiFi after being switched Off and back On.

Re Alexa I believe others have suggested turning the routers 5 GHz WiFi off, then conecting the Amazon device.
After the device has connected turn the routers 5GHz WiFi back on.
