ADSL/VDSL in attic room

Hi,

I've recently started working from home in my rental property and as my room is in the attic, I sometimes get an unstable connection. Not ideal for important meetings.

I have fibre and it's been extended to go to the office outside and up into my room. It's working well in the office but I have no idea how to use it in my room. I've attached a picture of the faceplate that's there and there was a cable already in there but how do I use that for a connection upstairs? I don't know if I need an adapter or what?
