Google and wifi

Here's a question some technically minded person may be interested in.

Recently, over the past two or three weeks google has been telling me to wait while he/she connects to the broadband.

I have discovered this only happens while I am connected to Internet TV .

If I switch to a terrestrial TV channel things return to normal.

There have been no changes at my end; I checked my broadband speed and it very close to the maximum.

The question is :-

Why should watching Internet TV " disconnect " my Google nest home mini ?

Regards..
