Hi there,

I followed this - https://community.plus.net/t5/Fibre-To-The-Premises-trial/Netgear-Nighthawk-D7000-V2-VDSL-Set-Up-Instructions/td-p/1519169
And also used the Netgear Genie 'autosetup' but just can't seem to get the internet to work, it provides the SSID's but no internet 'internet not available'.
I've got the DSL line going straight into the back of the Netgear D7000v2 router DSL port and the lights are glowing white, no orange lights.

I'm using the DSL email address which we was given on the bottom of the letter from Plusnet which I've put into the field for the ISP details
*******@plusdsl.net and password

@Jord9857 those setup instructions are for FTTP, where the router is connected via its ethernet wan port. Im assuming you have FTTC since you are connecting via the DSL port. You need to set the WAN preference either to 'auto detect' or 'must use dsl wan' https://kb.netgear.com/29325/How-to-change-D6220-D7000-s-WAN-Preference

You also need the vlan id set to 101

This thread https://community.plus.net/t5/Tech-Help-Software-Hardware-etc/Nether-Nighthawk-D7000-Router/m-p/1308091 might be worth a look, as they had problems connecting initially.

Hi,
I managed to sort it out by completely resetting it which also updated the firmware to the latest.
So the WiFi is now working & providing internet.
However I've got 3 ethernet cables which used to go into my Plusnet router now needing to go into the Netgear one, when plugging them into the 3 LAN(not WAN port), 2 of them show a orange/red light, the other 1 shows nothing, is that right/expected?

Cheers

@Jord9857 according to the manual https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/D7000/D7000_UM_01July2015.pdf

The LAN port LEDs should either be white for a Gigabit connection or amber for a 10/100M connection. Off is when an unpowered device is connected. So if you are sure the cable is ok and the connected device is powered then there is a problem!. Try connecting the device to another port to see if the problem is a failed router port
