just seen this on Ebay whilst looking at something i purchased

I have absolutely no affiliation with who ever this seller/persons are , merely curious because i looked at WRT a couple of weeks ago and it appeared there was Zero chance of it happening.

Anyway there is an advert for a seller refurbished PlusNet Hub One with WRT, the seller notes suggest they do know what they are doing. the above is the advert heading, not a link,

i have not looked into this YET.....can a BT Smarthub 6 be customised? with WRT I bought a BT Smart Hub 6 it is ( so far superior ) to the Plusnet router imo.

There is no support for OpenWrt on newer Smart Hubs.

Regarding Openwrt on HH5A/Hub One, see original installation guide which most ebay sellers won't disclose to its existence in their listings:

Most issues with openwrt on HH5a are down to poor throughput and wifi performance. Use an external wireless access point running stock firmware for best wireless performance.

I understand the BT Business Smart Hub 6 permits owners to change DNS server settings.
