Hello all, really in need of some help, our wifi started playing up a few weeks ago, great signal but started getting message saying connected with no internet!!?? After a series of phone call, router tweaks etc etc a replacement router was sent but the problem still remains, one tech person reckoned we needed to add more wifi extenders and 'triangulate' the signal!!! its driving us mad, I was advised to do chanel changes and separate the 5ghz but nothing seems to help, the router light stays blue but won't load anything, nothing has changed in the house and we live in a detached house, any advice or help would be most gratefully recieved, its playing up as I type this, loo,s like another phone call to tech support again tomorrow 😡😡😤😤😤

Hi, posted when the wifi was working, currently trying to catch the wifi not connecting to try and do a speed test through the pc with an ethernet connection to eliminate the line as a fault, its tricky as it sometimes goes off for about 20 seconds, other times a few minutes, very infuriating, new filter fitted when i fitted the new router too

You can turn the wifi off or on, from a Fn key .... find a wifi fn key with an icon like this,

usually on the top row of keys.. not necessarily f12 may be PrtScr... Use t he Fn key +the wifi key to turn on or turn off the computer wifi.

Use the Ethernet cable to connect to the internet.

You could also "right click" on the Wifi Icon on the right of the lower taskbar, this should list your current wifi name (plus your neighbours! !) and you should be able to Disconnect/Connect there also. instead of the Fn key.

If you don`t really need the Wifi on your computer.. then use the Ethernet cable for more reliable internet connection.
